What we have discovered at Tru Male Medical in Oak Brook, Il is the key to regenerating lasting healthy-looking hair is to understand that effective treatments are not about ONE thing. Unlike current programs using a single-faceted approach, The REGENhair® solution uses a multi-dimensional approach to reverse hair loss and stimulate new growth.

What are the main causes of hair loss

Hair loss, also known as alopecia, can occur for various reasons, and the causes can differ between men and women. Here are some of the main causes of hair loss in both genders:

1. Androgenetic Alopecia (Genetic Factors):

Commonly known as male-pattern baldness in men and female-pattern baldness in women. Genetics play a significant role, and it often runs in families.

2. Hormonal Changes and Medical Conditions:

Hormonal changes due to pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, and thyroid problems can contribute to hair loss. Conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in women and certain medical conditions in both genders can trigger hair loss.

3. Medications and Treatments:

Certain drugs and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and some medications for arthritis, depression, heart problems, gout, and high blood pressure, may cause hair loss.

4. Physical and Emotional Stress:

Significant physical stress due to surgery, illness, or trauma can lead to temporary hair loss (telogen effluvium). Emotional stress and psychological factors can contribute to hair loss or exacerbate existing conditions.

5. Nutritional Deficiencies:

Inadequate intake of essential nutrients, such as iron, zinc, vitamins (especially vitamin D and B vitamins), and protein, can affect hair health and lead to hair loss.

6. Autoimmune Diseases:

Conditions like alopecia areata, where the immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, can result in sudden hair loss.

7. Infections and Skin Diseases:

Fungal infections of the scalp (such as ringworm) and other skin diseases can cause hair loss.

8. Hair Styling and Treatments:

Excessive use of harsh chemicals, heat styling tools, and tight hairstyles (traction alopecia) can damage the hair and lead to hair loss.

9. Age:

As individuals age, hair growth tends to slow down, and hair may become thinner.

It's important to note that the specific cause of hair loss can vary from person to person. If someone is experiencing significant or prolonged hair loss, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional or a dermatologist to identify the underlying cause and determine the most appropriate course of action. As you can see, the causes of hair loss are unique to each individual. One size fits all supplements or other similar treatments can be hit or miss when it comes to lasting hair regeneration. At Tru Male, our approach is very different.

Our solution begins with a comprehensive medical examination to determine the root cause of your hair loss. We treat every client as an individual and match the treatment protocol that’s just right for you. We use a special combination of Tissue Regenerative Fluid (TRF) therapy, which is 400% more concentrated than traditional PRP, filled with the perfect mix of stem cells and other growth factors, combined with the REGENlase® laser treatments to synergistically create hair rejuvenation by addressing multiple aspects of hair health and growth. By combining treatments in a multi-modality approach addressing the root causes of hair loss, our medically based protocol offers a higher probability of long term success.

Tissue Regenerative Formula (TRF)

TRF is injected into the scalp at specific areas affected by hair thinning or hair loss. The cytokines and growth factors in TRF stimulate cell proliferation, collagen production, and angiogenesis, which is the formation of new blood vessels.

The TRF stimulates hair follicles, encouraging them to transition from the dormant phase to the active growth phase. It nourishes and revitalizes existing hair follicles, promoting thicker, stronger, and healthier hair growth. TRF also improves the health of the scalp, creating a favorable environment for hair regeneration.

REGENlase Laser Treatment

The REGENlase laser is a high-performance laser system. The laser works by emitting controlled pulses of light energy onto the scalp. This non-invasive procedure is painless and does not damage the surrounding tissues. The laser treatment stimulates blood flow to the scalp, promoting nutrient delivery to the hair follicles. This increased circulation nourishes the hair follicles, encouraging new hair growth and strengthening existing hair.

By combining PRP with Regenlase laser treatments we use your own body’s healthy tissue to accelerate hair rejuvenation, because they complement each other's effects and enhance the overall hair rejuvenation process.

Enhanced Growth Factors

PRP provides a concentrated dose of growth factors and cytokines directly to the scalp, promoting cellular regeneration and tissue repair. The laser treatment, in turn, enhances the absorption of these growth factors and further stimulates blood flow to the treated area, amplifying the benefits of PRP. The staff at trumale medical is very professional. I have had pellets and p-shot done so far, and I will be back! The front desk (Rosa) to Dr Marshall and Kelly (nurse practitioner) are very friendly and knowledgeable! I feel very comfortable speaking to them about a sensitive subject. I will be back for future treatments!

The staff is so welcoming here, Rose is amazing to talk to. She's easy to talk to, fantastic at helping with scheduling appointments, and helpful with setting up payment plans. Kelly is super smart and is easy to discuss desired goals and how different treatments can help achieve those results. While there are other offices that are closer to me, I go out of my way to see Rose and Kelly because they're that good.

I was hesitant at first, out right scared even. What made an initial big difference was within the first 2 visits I knew the staff / team were on my side. I was pretty low on the ED scale - which means not good - but my nurse practicioner Kelly said, "Don't worry. We have alot of ways to make this work. We are going to make it happen." I think that statement is one of the keys to success. My treatment has very much been for me as the individual; at the same time the staff shares what has worked with others, as much as can. I am doing a 1-year treatment program. Within my first month of treatment I had successful penetration. Within my first 2 months of treatment, my girlfriend and I had one of the best sex nights a person could ask for. Yes again everyone is different, be patient, stay the course, but my testimony is true. I'm now 4+ months into treatment. From my experience, here are some keys: 1) Be outright honest with your partner - "honesty is the best policy", lol. In this case it's true. The unquestioned full support I have makes all the difference. If you're partner isn't 100% supportive then you're probably not with the right person (Sorry :/). There's no doubt this is tough - we are sticking our necks out and deserve to be appreciated for it. 2) The Tru-Male staff. Kelly rocks it. She's a blast to work with. She's my therapist. Rosa at the front desk is awesome. She is so supportive; she's a good listener and has a ton of good advice. Danielle has been there for me the whole time. She helped me get things started and has been a cornerstone to success. I've had appointments with Rodney - he's awesome for sure. Everyone is so professional. They are all friends to me; they're definitely invited to my wedding some years down the road. What a table that'll be :) 3) How do we keep this going? That's a good question. Stick with your program. Don't slide on your part (most iomportant) of the therapy. Have faith. 4) Try to relax. Have faith in life. Love your partner. Love those around you.

" Absolutely guys make things simple and easy and also work with my schedule. The lady at the front desk is warm and friendly. Easy payment plan. It feels like people care and also will be blunt. "
